I really never thought I’d enjoy writing romance. But I have to admit, this is book four and I loved writing it. I enjoyed the characters, the setting (who doesn’t love a bit of New Orleans?), and the deep emotional issues I got to play with.

As someone who moved around a lot and can’t imagine going back to some places, I was interested in what it would feel like to face a place you swore you’d never see again. And what it might feel like to look into the eyes of the woman who stole your heart, way back when.

Riley and Emma both take a journey in the midst of kayak racing, tye-dye fights, and a messy night out in the French Quarter. And of course, there’s the feral hog…
